HOLIDAY NOTE
We are closed for boarding check-ins and check-outs on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Pack the Pup!
Here's what to bring for their entire stay:
Enough food for their entire stay PLUS 3-4 extra servings
Any medications or supplements (include extras!)
Their leash and collar (write their name or include their name if able to!)
Anything our team specifically requests
Food & Treats
We have fridges, microwaves, freezers, and storage for your dog's food.
If you can pre-package and label your dog's food (with first & last name), that helps us a lot!
Medications
If your dog needs medications, we have trained staff to administer them.
Please note there is an extra medication charge.
Leashes & Collars
Always have your dog leashed at all times on Dogwoods campus.
If your dog's collar doesn't have their name, please write it on the tag (and leash) if you're able to. We use Dogwoods leashes during their stay (to keep yours safe!).
Personal Items
Keep these at a minimum. Your dog's behavior may be different in a Boarding setting, and some items may be soiled, chewed up, or misplaced. If you want to include a personal item, please label it (Sharpie works great!).
Check-in Day!
Head to reception!
Park in the same direction as the other cars in our parking lot. The Reception Area is the pink door under the gazebo.
Please stop and check to see if there's a customer inside. If there is, please wait until they leave.
You can bring in your pup with you (as long as they're leashed) and leave the items in your car. We will help you unload!
CHECK-IN TIME
Any time between 12 PM - 6 PM
Please try to arrive no later than 5:45 (to give us time to review your reservation and fully check your pup in!)
Chat with us.
We will review your Boarding reservation with you. This may sound like we're repeating what you already said, but this helps us make sure everything is documented. We write it down to attach to your pup's kennel so we can always have it available.
Make sure we can reach you.
We will confirm your phone number, email, emergency contact, address, veterinarian information, and the preferred method to reach you. If you won't be in service or out of the country, please let us know if we can text you or if there's a backup person to reach.
